Ryann Regier 

​CAPS, or the Center for Advanced Professional Studies is an ​innovative approach to education that is designed to give high school students hands-on, real world experience in a profession of their choice. Located in Overland Park, Kansas,  CAPS is made up of high school students of all 5 Blue Valley Schools, who come for 2.5 hours in the morning or afternoon of their day. 

   

There are 4 strands of courses for CAPS, and Teacher Education falls under the human services strand. As potential future teachers and current students ourselves, we realize how important it is to stay up to date with the all of the current technology and figure out ways to incoorporate some of it into the classroom.
